  • Develop and maintain local networks 
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks
  • Maintain database of hardware and software
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance
  • Assist personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software
  • Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel
  • Conduct daily network backup operations

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • At least two (2) years working experience in information technology

Job Summary

Qualifications:

  • A Diploma in Business Administration or similar skill area. 
  • Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other related software

Pharmacist 

The ideal candidate should:

• Be registered and currently licensed with the Pharmacy Council of Jamaica.
• Be proficient in the use of Myrie Pharmacy System.
• Be familiar with the administration of the Government’s Jamaica Drugs for the Elderly (JADEP) and the National Health Fund (NHF) Programmes.
• Be familiar with the administration of health insurance companies’ online claim processing procedures.

Mobile Services Coordinator/Registered Nurse

Job Summary
 Responsible for supervision of all staff working on the Mobile Screening teams and assist the Manager, Health Services with the supervision of staff at the In-House and Mobile Clinics along with the smooth day-to-day operation of the Medical Department.

Job Requirements 

Education and Experience

  • Be a Registered Nurse — registered with the Nursing Council of Jamaica.
  • 2-3 years previous supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Be willing to travel island wide and stay overnight (as required).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Be flexible and able to work on own initiative. 
  • To be available for work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as arranged in advance and to overnight with the Mobile Screening team when required. 
  • Be BLS certified &/or prepared to attend ACLS and ECG Interpretation certificate courses.
  • Be trained in First Aid
  • Show a willingness for upgrading skills through further CME training.
  • Demonstrated affinity for good customer service and strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Be computer literate and efficient in using the Microsoft office suite.

The Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI), a program of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK), provides strategic advocacy assistance on global public health issues in the area of obesity prevention, among others.
